Hi Stacy, sooo...I read your pricing guide and am a HUGE fan of your work. I've been stalking your blog for a while. So today I decide to read your "about me" info and discover you're 2 weeks older than me AND more importantly, a fellow member of the Fightin Texas Aggie Class of 06! Whoop! Who knew! I would have thought by your knowledge and amazing talent that you were like 35 with many years of experience. So way to go sista! I started my photog biz almost 2 years ago and am slowly learning and building my portfolio. You are an inspiration!

Stacey,
I LOVE LOVE LOVE your work! You photographed the Cash wedding, and they pictures were gorgeous! I too, am an Aggie (class of '94) and I majored in English! You look so familiar to me... did you go to high school with Julie N. Cash?

I hope to utilize your talents soon!

you are 25? That is really cool... I always expect people I consider excellent photographers to be in their mid->late 30's. Awesome... mostly because i'm 25 too... and get inspired by others around me who are as passionate as me.

Love your blog and your work.

Hi Stacey,

Your work is stunning and I am slowly becoming your biggest fan. I am in another continent ( south America ), in a small country called SURINAME. It is bordered by Brazil, Guiana and French Guiana.
Our country is stuck in the middle.

Anyway, I am glad that I've seen your pics on Flickr ( I am also a member ) and I hope to get back at ya!

Excuse my English, because our native language is Dutch.

Have a nice day..

Awesome Stacy!! Always good to see someone finding her career niche in life!

You definitely have the knack for capturing not only intriguing images, but also what I think is the most important element--the human element.

I do videos, which I know is not the same as photography, but I think it's incredible when someone can project movie-like movements on a static photo. I'm not talking about trick shots either. I'm talking about the holistic perspective your photos project in all its humanistic glory. So kudos to you.

Movies by yourself? Thanks Stacy! Now I can tell my wife I'm not the only strange one out there.

When your BIG day comes (wedding), I have this comical vision of your photographer under immense pressure to take the shots that could please you.
I can see the photographer begging for you to choose someone else. Oh wait...that sounds familiar: "In January of 2006, Brittani got engaged to another good friend, Corey, and they asked me to shoot their wedding. I begged them to pick someone else, but they insisted..."

Just make sure you take a photo of the photographer's expression while she begs you to choose someone else. Then look at it and know you've come full circle.
