Allison’s wedding was hands down one of the the most beautiful affairs I’ve ever seen.. The first time I met Allison I knew our design styles were a perfect match (she, her bridesmaid, and I all showed up to the consultation in matching ivory and khaki dresses), and she had an amazing team working on her wedding decor, so I was anxiously awaiting her wedding and it definitely did not disappoint! I’m still working on the wedding photos, but in the meantime, here are some of my favorites from her session at the Dallas Arboretum!

I have had the pleasure of knowing Lisa for many years now, but somehow I don’t think I had ever had the chance to see her all dolled up.. That is, until her bridal session. Since Lisa and I were involved in a camp organization together as counselors, we were used to seeing each other in typical college and nature wear – shorts, jeans, t-shirts, flip flips, etc. When she walked up in her dress (which perfectly shows off her envy-inspiring silhouette) and her three – yes, THREE – veils, I was floored. What a stunner! I can only imagine what was going through Grant’s mind when he saw her for the first time, but I can imagine that he was thinking about what a lucky man he was to have such a stunning bride. Here are some of my favorite images from her session at the Dallas Arboretum:

- Stacy, these are BEAUTIFUL! I am in love with the bw one with the veil blowing in the breeze and the one where she is standing underneath the wooden archway crossing her arms(?) So delicate and beautiful!

No real humpdates this week because a) I have already shared my exciting news with you this week, and b) I am furiously trying to finish everything before I leave for Nebraska this weekend for Darbi and Neil’s wedding in Omaha!
Right now I am working on Julie & Jeff’s amazingly beautiful wedding from last weekend.. Do you ever have one of those days where you just feel “ON,” like everything you do is awesome? I feel like that with Julie and Jeff’s wedding.. Everything just worked out so perfectly that day, and the photos we got are incredible, I cannot wait to share them with you guys soon! In the meantime, here is a small sneak peek at a few of Julie’s bridals!
We shot these on a very very hot day at the Dallas Arboretum, and although it could not have been fun wandering around in the sun in a big, heavy dress, Julie was a total pro! Luckily we were able to shoot on a weekday (weekends at the Arboretum are insane, brides EVERYWHERE!), so for the most part, we had the place to ourselves. Here are a couple of my favorites:

- hi stacey i think your new blog is darling. i love your images, they are *so* classy and quality. hugs lacy
- Thanks Lacey :)
- Aw! That's my baby sister! We enjoyed you so much at the wedding, Stacy and these sneak peek photos are amazing. I can't wait to see the rest. And what do you know...I know Courtney, too! Hi Courtney! You look gorgeous.
- These photos are award winning...seriously...and not just because the model in the photo is my youngest sister! =) Well, now I'm hooked to this website and have added it to my favorites. I'll be checking back for pics of the totally awesome wedding of the century! You and your crew members were so much fun to hang around. I can't wait to see the faces we made in the bridal party line-up shot.
- hah...okay, so I read your "things I hate" thread at SWPB, and of course, stumbled upon the name thing...and immediately thought to myself "DAMN! I totally spelled her name wrong." People do it to me daily, so I feel your pain! and get the irony. I'll call you stacy if you call me lacy. deal? *wink.
Libby - Absolutely Phenomenal!
Emily @ Southern Weddings - Gorgeous! And I WANT those shoes. :)
Meredith Perdue - These are beautiful, Stacy! I am absolutely smitten with Allison's dress!
Tammy - Thank you Stacy for the beautiful photos of my daughter! I'm certain the wedding photos will be amazing too! You're the best! She loved Dorothy's red shoes from The Wizard of OZ....hence the red shoes for her wedding day!
Thresha - Her dress is absolutely stunning!! So are the pictures!
Deborah Zoe - your bridals are always soooo beautiful and inspirational!
Jackie O. - Stacy- What an amazing job you've done!! I can't wait to see the pictures from the wedding! Love, love, love all of the Bridal's!
Kim - Lovely images, she is rockin' those red pumps!
Jason (JA2) - And ... you've done it again! :-) Beautiful pics Stacy!
Evil Pixie - Love the shoes, love the dress, love the photos!
Mike Reed - The color pallet you use for post production rocks. I don't even know if I could describe it... it's desaturated but vibrant?!?!?
