I see that you live in Paris, but my wedding is somewhere else.  Can you still shoot it?
Absolutely!  I travel for almost all of my weddings, and in many cases there are no additional travel fees.  No matter where your wedding is, we’ll be there to cover it!

What about my engagement or bridal session?  Can you cover that, too?
Portrait sessions are a bit trickier, but we can still make them work.  Travel fees generally only cover the wedding, but in some cases we may be able to coordinate with our existing travel schedule and photograph your portrait session with no additional fees.  If that isn’t possible, one of our amazing associate photographers can photograph your session at a reduced fee, or we can recommend a third-party photographer who you can contract with to photograph your portraits.  Or you could always come to Paris!!

Do you sell/include the high resolution digital files?
Yes, the digital negatives are included in all of my packages. However, we strongly recommend reading our info page on digital negatives to learn more about what they are and how you can use them.

Do you work with a second photographer or assistant?
Yes, all of my packages include a second shooter. Typically the second photographer will photograph the groom’s side of the wedding day while I focus on the bride, capturing different angles during the ceremony, and assisting with lighting and detail shots during the reception. I have a team of experienced photographers that I have personally trained who work most of my weddings with me. However, in the event that my staff members are unavailable, I always hire professional photographers with experience shooting multiple weddings on their own who have a style similar to my own. Anyone I bring to your wedding will be experienced, reliable, and very talented.

What if I only want/need one photographer? Can I get a discount on a package by cutting the second photographer?
No. For risk management purposes and due to our shooting style, it is required that two photographers be present at every wedding. This is for your benefit as much as ours, so that if anything happens to one photographer, you will still have a qualified photographer there to capture your wedding day! If you feel strongly that you only need one photographer, please contact us and we can discuss your wedding.

What parts of the wedding will you be photographing?
All of our packages include eight consecutive hours of coverage, and it’s completely up to you to decide when you want those eight hours to begin. Typically we arrive 2-3 hours before the ceremony and stay until the end of the reception.

What if I need more or less than eight hours of coverage?
Eight hours is the perfect amount of coverage for 90% of our clients. However, if you feel that your wedding has unique needs, you’re welcome to trade hours out for other items or services, or create a custom package with the exact amount of hours you need.

How much do your couples spend on photography on average?
Currently, most of my couples spend around $6000-8000 on their wedding photography package. This amount includes eight hours of coverage by two photographers, digital negatives, at least one portrait session, and an album.

Do we really need an album?
The vast majority of my clients purchase albums eventually, whether it’s included in their initial package or not. Personally, I think it’s silly to spend thousands on wedding photography and not have a beautiful way to display your investment. Unlike traditional wedding albums with the abundance of boring posed formals and messy slip-in mats, most of which are sitting under beds or collecting dust in storage closets by now, our coffee-table albums are beautiful works of art that you will be proud to show off for years to come.  Ultimately the choice is up to you, and we will never pressure you into buying something you don’t want, but our experience with our clients is that nearly every client ends up wanting and purchasing an album at some point.

Can I meet with you to see some sample albums?
Absolutely! In fact, I strongly recommend it. If possible we will set up an in-person meeting, or if our travel schedules don’t match up, we can set up a Skype webcam chat at a time that is convenient for you.

How long will it take to see my proofs?
Turnaround time for portrait sessions is usually about a week, but can go up to two weeks in our busy season (May-July, October-December). Portrait sessions can be turned around as quickly as the next-day in emergency situations (for example, last-minute bridals or engagements) but prints may be subject to an additional rush fee. Turnaround time for weddings is approximately two weeks, but can take as long as three or four weeks during our busy season.

What is the process to book you?
You can secure your wedding date with a signed contract and a non-refundable deposit of $1500, which will give you 60 days to decide on the package you want. Once you select your package, the $1500 will be applied towards the package and the remaining balance will be split into one or two payments. Our booking system is entirely online, so let us know as soon as you are ready to reserve your date and we will send you a private link to electronically sign your contract and submit your payment. Please note that all money paid is non-refundable (except for situations outlined in the contract), so make sure your date is final before placing your deposit.

What forms of payment do you accept?
Currently we accept check, wire transfer, bitcoin, and all major credit cards.
