Lately I have not been posting nearly as much as I usually do, and it’s certainly not because I don’t have anything to show you! 2009 is going to be my busiest year, with 24+ weddings and countless engagement, bridal, and day after sessions. In fact, I’ve already shot seven weddings, six bridals, and eight engagement sessions this year so far, most of which haven’t even shown up on the blog yet! The primary reason for this is that everything about my business is about to undergo a huge overhaul. When I parted ways with my previous studio last year, I had to get my business up to speed very quickly and efficiently, and unfortunately that meant sacrificing some things. In December, I took the entire month off to step back and really evaluate myself and my business and specifically my brand, and decide where I wanted to take Stacy Reeves Photography. I hired a team of talented professionals to help me through this process, and I’m so excited about what is in store for the future of SRP. However, this takes time and patience, so please bear with me as I prepare to take my first steps into Version 3.0 of Stacy Reeves Photography.

In the next month, you’ll be seeing a lot of changes, and I can’t wait to give all of you a sneak peek of what my current and future clients will be experiencing. Here are a few of my favorite touches!!

When it’s finally time to reveal everything, I will have a lot to say about the branding process, what to consider, what to hire a professional for and what to do yourself, etc. This has been a truly eye-opening experience! I also can’t wait to share why I made the decisions I made, and how they will impact how I run my business in the future. 2009 is going to be an amazing year!  In the meantime, I promise to get some photos up.. possibly with a little hint of things to come thrown in with them, as well!
